Welcome to the Zoo Knoxville!
We are relocating three different escaped animals to Zoo Knoxville and we need your help!
Task
At Zoo Knoxville, we have a Species Survival Plan for each animal that lives here. Before the animals even arrive at our zoo, our zookeepers and scientists are already hard at work to prepare for the animals. While animals are being transported to our zoo, our Species Survival Plan requires us to ensure animals are comfortable. To do this, our transportation containers are customized to each individual animal. Today, you will be Animal Relocation Experts and work with us to decide how we need to customize each transportation container so that our new animals remain happy and healthy.
Process
First, you will be researching each habitat that you may be replicating for our new animals.
Complete your Semantic Feature Analysis while you read through the texts and watch the videos below.
Arctic Tundra Habitat

Now that you are experts on each habitat, we are asking for your help on a special mission! At the front of the classroom, you will find "Top Secret" folders. Find the folder with your name on it, and gather with the group members listed on the folder. The files will contain all the information you need for this project, including the animal you will be helping us relocate and a guide for presenting your relocation container.
You can use any of the items on the supply table to make your animal's journey in its relocation container comfortable. Be sure you use the information you just learned and the Semantic Feature Analysis while making your container!
