Introduction
Forder Elementary is in a bit of a pickle!

Mrs. Bright, the school counselor, has left the building. Her good luck has paid off. She's enjoying her time in Disney World because she won a free month long vacation.
This means she will not be able to teach our students what it looks like, sounds like and feels like to be a friend to one another. This is such an imporatnt skill to learn at the beginning of the year! Good thing Mrs. Bright has thought ahead...
Task

Fourth grade friends, Mrs. Bright has asked us to act as counselors for the kindergarteners. Just like Mrs. Bright you will need to come up with a lesson to teach the kindergartners all about friendship.
How you teach the lesson is up to you!
You can work by yourself or with a partner.
You can present the lesson any way you choose:
- power point
- puppet show
- self made book
- poster
- you think of it, you can do it
Remember, you are teaching 5 year olds.
Process

Mrs. Bright has left us with many different resources to help us learn what qualitites make a good friend.
As you watch these videos and read the articles pay close attention to the qualitites needed to be a good friend.
Remember, your job is to teach the kindergartners:
- what it looks like
- what it sounds like
- what it feels like
to be a good friend.

Conclusion
Alright, alright!
Now that you're an expert on friendship it's time to put together a lesson for the Forder kindergartners.
You can choose any way you want to present the information but be sure you answer the question:
What makes a good friend?
