Introduction
This is a webquest that will help students to learn about the world's most iconic hotels.
Task
You will have the entire lesson for this task which is to be completed for home work if necessary. As a team you will make a PowerPoint Presentation to report the information about famous Hotel.
Process
Divide into 4 groups:
Group 1 analyzes the information about the Plaza Hotel.
Group 2 analyzes the information about the Ritz Paris.
Group 3 analyzes the information about Claridge's, London.
Group 4analyzes the information about The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin.
After that you should present your information in PowerPoint presentations. Your presentations should include:
1)the information about the history of the hotels;
2) the information about the rooms;
3) the information about the facilities;
4) advantages and disadvantages of your hotel.
Evaluation
Description of the criteria for evaluating the completion of a web quest, which is given in the form of a score sheet. This score sheet contains 4 criteria: presentation, language material, oral presentation, and teamwork.
Conclusion
Now it is time to share your PowerPoint Presentation. Each group will present their PowerPoint Presentation and will share the information they have gathered about their hotels. They will also try to give us reasons to show that their hotel is the best
