Introduction
Entrepreneurs have been shaping local, national and global culture and economies for hundreds of years. There are many factors that determine whether they are successful and its also fair to say that luck can play a hand in success as well. Through this webquest, you will learn more about some of the greatest entrepreneurs and how they were able to suceed.
Task
Your task is to identify who you believe is the most successful entrepreneur in the world. To complete this, you will research what makes entrepreneurs successful, learning more about famous entrepreneurs, and use your own judgement to decide who ultimately "wins" the title of World's Best Entreprenuers.
Process
Step 1: Watch this video on what makes entrepreneurs successful and create a slide presentation with a title slide (The World's Best Entrepreneur) and one slide for each of the 10 factors discussed in the video. Simply put the word or words that describe the factor in the title of the slides and leave the rest of the slide blank for now. So you're presentation at this point should have a title slide, and 10 additional slides, each dedicated to 1 of the factors that determine success for entrepreneurs.
Step 2: Read this article and identify who you feel is the most impressive entrepreneur on the list of entrepreneurs mentioned. Submit this via Canvas discussion thread with your rationale.
Step 3: Use a search engine or other internet resource to learn about 5 additional entrepreneurs not discussed within the article in Step 2. Write a one paragraph description of each all within one document (word, google docs, etc). The total paper should be ~2 pages.
Step 4: Evaluate your selection from #2 as well as the additional 5 entrepreneurs you researched to determine who you feel is the world's best entrepreneur. Submit your choice via Canvas discussion thread with your rationale. Limit this to one paragraph including the most important factors.
Step 5: Update your title slide from your presentation above to include the name of the Entreprenuer and your name. Then for each of the 10 slides that list the factors that determine success, add additional information indicating why this entrepreneur demonstrated that quality, factor, or behavior. If needed, conduct additional research online to be able to support.
Step 6: Upload your slide presentation to Canvas for final grading.

Conclusion
A case can be made for so many entrepreneurs to be included on these lists and up for consideration. As you travel through your neighborhood and visit small businesses, hear of new products brought to market by entrepreneurs or even use tools or software created by entrepreneurs, hopefully you have a new found appreciation for what factors led to their success and what obstacles regularly stand in their way.
