Introduction
All aboard the AJA ship!
You are about to take an exploratory journey through the wonderful world of technology.
Technology is the use of websites, apps, methods and skills in order to create productive work. The shift in culture from in person learning to distance learning has resulted in technology becoming part of our everyday lives. In opposition of teacher-directed instruction, technology in the classroom can be very effective and efficient in educating diverse learners. Technology can be viewed as a distraction and can have both a positive and negative impact on students, but we are aiming for a positive and smooth transition during these unprecedented times. We shouldn’t underestimate the possibilities of educational technology in our modern society. When technology is integrated into instruction in the appropriate manner it can help encourage active participation and connectivity, which is our focal point during this school year!
