Your mission is to act as a travel blogger or tour guide. You will discover amazing places, cultures, and natural resources found in the different regions of the Philippines. Get ready to explore and showcase the beauty of our country to the world!
Task
By the end of this WebQuest, you will be able to:
- Identify at least 3 famous tourist spots or natural wonders in the Philippines.
- Describe the geography, culture, food, and activities available in the area.
- Create a Digital Travel Brochure or a Slide Presentation highlighting your chosen destination.
- Present your work to the class explaining why we should protect and visit these places.
Process
Follow these steps to complete your mission:
Step 1: Choose Your Destination
Pick one major island group: Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao. Select one specific place you want to feature (e.g., Palawan, Batanes, Cebu, or Davao).
Step 2: Gather Information
Use the links provided in the Resources section to find out:
- Location and Description
- Famous Landmarks and Scenery
- Activities you can do there (Hiking, Diving, etc.)
- Culture and Local Products
Step 3: Organize your Data
Make notes and organize your facts. Make sure you write them in your own words.
Step 4: Create your Output
Design your Travel Brochure or Slides. Include pictures, maps, and interesting facts.
Step 5: Present
Prepare a short 2-minute talk to share what you learned.
