Introduction
This is a WebQuest that will support Pre-K students in identifying different farm animals while having fun with learning. Identifying animals will support the children in expanding their vocabulary and learn about the animals that live on a farm.
Vocabulary plays a vital role in developing language and literacy skills and is essential in reading acquisition in the future.
In this WebQuest you will play interactively as you learn about various animals and the different sounds they make.
Task
Let's take a trip to the farm.
I need you to help me find the animals and name them.
Let's Listen to the sounds the animals make.
Parents you can play too but allow your child to show you what they can do!
Process
- I have included some internet sites to help you learn the animal names and sounds.
- First, I will need you to click on this link and get familiar with what animals are on the farm and ask a parent to help you name the animals.

Evaluation
I will evaluate you to see how many animals and sounds you can identify.
I will use the number scales on the scoring system below to score your progress and knowledge.

- Identified less than three animals and sounds/Beginning concept=1
