Introduction
Welsh Traditions and Vocabulary
The way people celebrate Christmas varies from country to country. It is a well known fact that a lot of universally acknowledged Christmas traditions have been appropriated from Pagan cultures, so many of them still have an impact on how we celebrate our holidays today. Wales are no different, with its rich cultural background the traditions of the pre-christian cultures left a massive footprint on the Wales of today.
The Christmas celebrations are no different in that regard. Your task will be to learn about the modern holiday celebrations in Wales and their origins.
Task
The tasks can be divided into two parts.
Both are mainly research based.
The first part requires you to research Welsh Christmas traditions that will be listed in the "Process" page, and attempt to find their origins.
The second part will require translating certain phrases associated with the Christmas celebrations in Wales (also listed in the "Process" page)

Team Collaboration:
1. Beginning - Little to no collaboration among group members. One or two students did work for most of the group.
2. Developing - Group collaborated throughout majority of project. Majority of the students participated
3. Accomplished - Group members worked well together. All students contributed to research and work.
4. Exemplary - Group members worked well together. Each student participated in the work and contributed to the group. Students assisted one another with research.
Individual Research:
1.Beginning - Time was not used wisely and little to no information was gathered on assigned perspective.
2. Developing - Majority of students researched assigned website and took and shared notes with peers.
3. Accomplished - All group members completed individual research. Took and shared notes with other group members.
4. Exemplary - Individual research was complete, shared and took notes with group members. Able to discuss various findings and research.
Conclusion
Your group has researched and learned about a specific part of Welsh culture, not only in the modern era but in the past as well.
