YOUR OWN CLASSROOM RULES

Introduction

In this lesson, the students have to do their own classroom rules. They will become the "law-makers" of the classroom, they are presented some real problems and will have to work together to give a solution.

Task

This year your class has been chosen to do the rules of behaviour of the classroom. For what each of you need to create rules for these problems, later you will put it in common and create a poster for the classroom with all the rules you have decided. It is important that you read carefully all the problems I present. You have some clues to help you.

Process

You will divided into groups of five. At first, you will be given each of you a card with different problems to solve. You will work alone creating some rules with the clues you will have at the end of each card. You need at least 5 rules for each card. Later, you will meet with other peers that have the same card that you have to share your rules and create together a poster with the best rules. you must have at least 8 rules of each card.

Finally, a representative of each group sharing the same cards will read their rules to write them all together into a big poster that we will put on the wall of the classroom.

Look on google images for creative posters of classroom rules.
