Introduction
Hello 6th graders! You are on the journey of becoming a true poet. Throughout this journey, you must write, read, and speak! So buckle up and let's begin!
Task
This journey consists of you finding poems!
When you are finding poems, you are not going to simply look for a poem that rhymes, that is easy, or that is funny. You are going to look for a poem that you would love to read aloud!
You are going to look on the specific websites and find poems that you love. Once you have found a poem you love, I want you to read it once, twice, maybe even six times! Then you are going to show me the poem. Once I approve the poem, it is your duty to read the poem everyday. By the end of the week, you will know this poem like the back of your hand. You will then have to read the poem aloud!
