Introduction
Hello students,
It is December 7, 1941 and you are a soldier in the US military. World War II has been going on for two years now, but America has not been involved until this very date. The Japanese came and attacked Pearl Harbor so now you must go into war. You will be serving this country and helping to put an end to this war.
Task
TASK 1
As the days go on you must keep a journal of your experiences during the war.
In your journal you need to:
1) Give the date
2) Explain what is happening in the war
3) Give detail about the morale
4) Be creative:)
TASK 2
You must also make a creative collage. On the collage have:
1) Pictures of important war times
2) Make the pictures be in order by date to basically tell the story of the war
3) Be creative:)
Process
To complete task one I suggest you first do research and look up important dates of World War II. A good site to go to would be http://www.shmoop.com/wwii/timeline.html. Choose which dates you want and then model your journal after them. Talk about how you feel when these events happen and explain the morale.
To complete task two just use pictures from the dates and creatively tell a story. Just put the pictures in order of the dates and make it look good.

This project is worth 50 points!

Conclusion
Now you know important dates of WWII! This war is very historical and important for students to learn about. You also can imagine how the soldiers must have felt through expressing the morale throughout your journal. You are now a WW2 genius!
