Introduction
During your time at school, you will all be immunised against:
- Whooping Cough
- Chicken Pox
- Hepatitis B
While recieving the needle maybe painful at the time, contracting one of these diseases will be much worse!!

Task
Your Task: Will be to choose one of the diseases that we all get immunised against and present to the class why it is important to have the jab!
The presentation must last for at least 1 minute and must be accompanied by a Powerpoint presentation
Process
In Pairs or groups of 3, you take the role of a Government official.
Your job is to convice the class that it is important to have an injection that will immunise against cathing either:
- Whooping Cough
- Hepatitis B
- Chicken Pox
As part of your presentation you must address the following
- What are the Symptoms?
- How the disease spread? (How is it passed on to people)
- What happens to a person if he/she contracts the disease?
- What is the treatment for someone who contracts the disease?
- What age will you/have you been vaccinated against the disease?
