Introduction
Prior to reading The Crucible, we must first establish the historical context for the play. Today you will take a quest to learn about the Puritan people. While the Puritans lived very simple lives, they also were under strick guidlines as to how they lived their lives. Could you imagine a life without social media, freedom of expression, or being able to listen to your favorite music? As you do your research think about how your life contrasts to the lives of the Puritan people. Enjoy your quest!
