Introduction
Each day in chorus class we are given the opportunity to learn and perform various musical compositions by composers such as Giovanni Palestrina, J.S. Bach, R.A. Thomlinson, Christopher Suddeth, Irving Berlin and many more. Unfortunately, we are not always given the extra time to learn more about the composer his or her self.
Task
- Choose a composer from your past! (must have been born before you)
- Research information about this composer and put into the form of a presentation (see list below)

Process
Monday
- Introduce the topic
- Choose your group or partner (maximum of 4 people)
- Decide on a composer
Tuesday
- Computer lab or in cass research day (30 minutes)
Wednesday
- Complete research and practice presentation.
Thursday
- Perform Presentations
Friday
- Finish presentation performances
Evaluation
A- All directions were followed, completed all 8 required task, and information presented was correct. (THIS IS YOUR GOAL)
B- Missed directions, completed atleast 6 of the 8 required task, and most of the information presented was correct.
C- Missed many directions, completed at least 4 of the 8 required task, and most of the information presented was incorrect.
F- Did not complete the assignment. (WE DON'T FAIL)
