Do you know at the same moment, people from different time zones are at different times?
For example, you are now at 9:30 a.m. in the morning, but John in the U.S. could be at 9:30 p.m. at night.
Do you want to explore more about "What time is it?" in different countries in the world?
Let's start!

Task
Imagine you are able to see all the parts of the world at the same time...
So what do you see?
Write down what you see the conversations happen at the same time in different countries in the world.
Work in groups use the world map you got from the teacher. Write down the dialogue you design.
Finally, present the world map you have finished!

Process
1. Explore Time Zone

3. Write the dialogue
Write down what you "see" the conversations happen in different places of the world.
Hints: You can pick up cities like Beijing, New York, Brasilia, Sydney, London, and Cairo.
Example:
Beijing 9 p.m.
Mom: What time is it?
Lingling: It's 9 o'clock.
Mom: It's time to go to bed. Turn off the TV. Let's go to bed.
Lingling: OK.
New York 9 a.m.
Teacher: What time is it?
Mike: It's 9 o'clock. It's time for Music class.
4. Prepare to Show your Map
Prepare to show your map to teachers and your classmates!
