Introduction
As students you need to explore or investigate the possibilities that are available in our world and your future in it. Do you day dream about what your life will be like as an adult. Do you dream of being a doctor, nurse, teacher, game warren, carpenter, athlethe, pilot, firefighter, engineer or scientist?
In this webquest (an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web.) you will explore: the career selection process, preparation, training, education, qualifications, earnings, working conditions, location and future job outlook for your choosen dream career.
Task
Now it's time to select a dream career that you are interested in and want to investigate what it takes to have such a career.
You will learn how to prepare for this career beginning in middle school and continuing in high school, technical training and/or college.
You will also discover the responsibilities of that career, explore earnings and the job outlook in the future.
Your findings will be presented in a 'career portfolio ( a flat folder for carrying documents and information on your choosen career).
