Our web quest will help our 3rd graders know how many hours is required to competitive in a competitive sport.
Would you like to be a professional athlete? Would you like to work hard play hard and make money?This activity will show us how hard you have to work to become a professional or competitive athlete.
Task
There will be 8 sports, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, football, soccer, gymnastics, lacrosse, and baseball. The students get to choose what sport they want to research.After choosing a sport, you will click on the link of that sport. You need to write down 5-8 ways to improve in the sport.After writing down your 5-8 ways you can discuss with others I your group to come up with more ideas.After everyone has discussed you will present your sport to the class.![]()
