This webquest is designed for second grade students to learn more about their state of South Carolina. In conclusion, they will be able to teach other children about their state who aren't familiar. There will be videos and websites to help them.

Welcome Carolinian's! There's a new kid on the block who isn't familiar with our wonderful state of South Carolina. Let's teach him all about South Carolina!!!
We're going to look at some facts about South Carolina to help us help the new kid on the block to learn about South Carolina!
1. Watch this video and describe our flag.
2. Click on the picture of the bird to learn the name of our State bird.
3. Click on the map below to view and name our state capital.
4. Take a tour of the SC State House and describe the building.
5. Name the state flower.
6. Click on the picture and name the state animal.
7. Watch the video and describe the state reptile; the Loggerhead Sea Turtle.
8. Name our state fruit.
9. Name the most visited beach in South Carolina after watching a video.
Last, but not least lets inform our new carolinian about our states football rivalry.
10. Name the two football teams that go head to head in our state after this video.
Since we are learning about South Carolina, I want you to find one fact about our state to share with the new student. It can be something we shared already or something different. Take the fact that you pick and find pictures and paste into a word document along with 3 to five sentences describing the fact. I am giving you a website with tons of facts about our state.
