Introduction
This session's learning activity will focus on Web-Based Applications. To be more specific the web 2.0 tools we will be focusing on are Edmodo and Google Classroom. These two web based applications are great for facilitating classroom assignments and blogs/discussion boards. Other resources which these applications can provide are messaging and announcements to students.

Evaluation
You will decide which web 2.0 tool is best for your classroom and create either an Edmodo or Google Classroom account. Be sure to include 1) A welcome announcment 2) an assignment 3) create a dialogue discussion
After you create your web based application, you will share with the others in the session. Everyone will evaluate each others web 2.0 and then in a discussion you will answer the following questions:
1) Did the web-based application give you ideas for your classroom?
2) Can your web2.0 blog be effective in all content classrooms or are there only specific courses which would benefit?
Conclusion
Hopefully after this session you are ready to incoperate the tools into your classroom for web based applications of blogs/discussions.
