Paired reading In this lesson students will pair with a partner to read a text.
Task
Students take turns reading alound with a partnerAfter each paragraph is read they turn and talk with their partners
Process
after each paragraph is read students will talk with each other about what they just read. using the following steps to guide them.
1. summarizing the paragraph
2. Deciding which information is inportant
3. Sharing your ideas and feeling about an the information.
Evaluation
students will share out the highlights and information learned in their conversation.
Conclusion
I have used this also to talk about an artwork or picture.
