Introduction
Introduction:
You and a partner are going on vacation to a Spanish-speaking country of your choosing. You will spend 7 days in the country. Before traveling, it is important to book flights, hotels, and research the area(s) you will be staying in so that you can have a successful trip! Create a 7 day detailed itinerary of what you and your partner will do, where you will stay, what you will eat, when your flight leaves and returns, and the places you will visit. Also, estimate the total cost of the trip so you can decide if you will be able to do everything that you would like to.

Task
Task:
Research popular attractions in the Spanish-speaking country of your choosing, or try to find things that you would like to do that aren't as popular! Think about the types of things you and your partner enjoy - hiking, visiting ruins, going to the beach, visiting musems, etc. - this will help you decide what country you should go to. For example, if you plan on visiting the beach, then the completely landlocked nation of Paraguay is not a good choice for you. A country with many beaches such as Dominican Republic, Costa Rica or Mexico would be a better option! If you would like to hike, then you should find countries with large mountain ranges and hiking trails/excursions. Also, think about if you would want to experience more Indegenous cultures or European, because many countries (or regions within those countries) are more heavily influenced by one over the other.

Process
Process:
1. Choose country based on you and your partner's interests.
2. Find flight information, include times, cost, airline, city you are flying into and out of, etc.
3. Choose the hotel/place of lodging, and include prices, location, and how you will need to pay (local currency or American Dollars)
3. Figure out your plans while in the country! What sorts of things would you like to do, and what is there to do nearby where you are staying? Will you stay in one hotel the entire time, or move to different ones so that you can see more of the country? Where will you eat? Keep in mind that you will also have to get around while inside of the country. Will you take a taxi, public transportation, or find another method of transportation?
4. Calculate costs. Keep track of how much everything costs as you plan and research it so that you can properly budget your trip!

You also have gained valuable experience in how to research your destination before traveling, as well as the components that you need to think about so you don't get stuck in a jam while abroad (or within the country either).
