A wiki is a web 2.0 tool that can be used to enhance the learning process in the classroom. It is a web communication and collaboration tool that can be used to engage student learning with others within a collabrative setting. You will learn how to create a Wiki that can be used in your classroom in different ways.
Task
Task:
You are a few weeks away from the start of your semester. You are required to think of three creative ways your can use Wikis in your online classroom. List the three ways you will implement them in your classroom and give a brief description.

1) Research: Use multiple websites to research how a wiki works. Become familiar with the differnt uses of a wiki. How can using a Wiki improve your classroom and encourage meaningful learning?

2) Brainstorm: Now that you have conducted all the research need on wikis I would like you to come up with 3 different ways you can implement wikis in your class. Write down these methods and provide some detail onto how you will implement it.
3)Share: Share your ideas with the people in your table. Compare and contrast your ideas. The goal is to share your creative ways to use wikis with others, they may have new or different ways to implement it in the classroom.
