Unlikely Soldiers

Introduction

War could not exist without the soldiers that fight for their countries. When most of us picture soldiers, we imagine young, healthy, strong men. In this webquest you will discover that this is not always the case. Women, children and even animals have played a part in most major conflicts throughout history. Some have joined by choice, some were forced into battle. Explore their stories.
