Understanding Literary Techniques

Introduction

In this assignment, the student will showcase the ability to understand and analyze literary techniques throughout different aspects of Literature.

Task

Answer 10 questions, while following the directions to the specific websites, that deals with different Literary techniques. Some questions are specifically tied into the websites, so make sure to read and analyze the website thoroughly. Some questions will involve what you learned from the websites but not stated, meaning you will have to apply your knowledge to figure out the answer. Also, there are some creative questions. SO, put forth effort.

1. Research Symbolism. Then give a basic defintion for what this term is and what it does for a literary text.
