Task

Task: 

Independently analise chapter 12 from Tuck Everlasting and annotate it using the Jots and Doodles strategy.  Once you have fully analyzed the passage get into small groups and discuss your thoughts.  Then go back your desks and respond to the prompt independently.

Process

Assignment 1: Pretend you are Winnie and  pick whether you would drink from the spring or not and explain your reasoning behind your answer. Record your answer on a sheet of paper to be turned in after you discuss your thoughts with your small groups.

Assignment 2: Create a fakebook account using one of the characters from the book.  You must include a profile picture, personal information, friends, hobbies, 3 posts that the character might post, 4 comments from other characters in the story, 2 pictures and 1 video on your time line.

BE SURE TO INCLUDE EVIDENCE FROM THE BOOK TO SUPPORT YOUR REASONING.  

Evaluation

Evaluations will be based on how well you explain both sides of the question. You will also be evaluated on how well you communicate your thoughts to your group members.
