Trip Around The World

Introduction

Hello everybody, today we are going to start planning our trip!

 

Task

You will have to organize a trip for 4 people, it will last 1 week, the first week of next September.

You have to decide everything: the continent, the country, how to go, where to sleep, what activities you want to do and your suitcase.

To help you in deciding these steps you will have your personal Travel agenda. You can write step by step all the things you decide!

At the end you will present your plan in front of the class (in groups of 4) and later uploaded in a web page.

Process

It’s really hard decision, I know, the world is really big and there are a lot of places you can visit, so think in your group “what do you really want to visit?" The ocean? Wilds animals? A big city? A forest? Make a list and only  then start your research.

 

  • 1st step: Where to go? You can find all the information about  continents in this web site: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/ clic on “destination” you will find all the continents there, choose the best option for you.

  • 2nd step: Choose the Country. In each continent, as you know, there are a lot of countries, you have to choose one, clic on “countries in….”. Watch the pictures, talk with your group and all together decide which one select.

  • 3rd step:  decide your transport. So search on https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ select “Flights” write the departured airport and where you want to go, then put 4 travellers and change the dates. (First week of next September, 1 to 7). Select the perfect flight for you, a cheap flight? expensier but faster one? You decide!

  • 4th step: choose the accommodation. Where do you want to sleep during your trip? In a 5 star Hotel? Or maybe a camping? Find your accommodation on https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ clic on “Hotels” choose the date and the city. Then you can decide the types of hotels, the price for night, the style and the Hotels class. (Choose the city where you arrive with your flight)

  • 5th step. The Activities. Maybe the more important thing, what do you want visit during your trip? Return to https://www.lonelyplanet.com/ find your continent, your country and read which activity you cand do there. (in “Sights in….”), select the more interesting 4.
