Introduction
"On 8 May 1945 Winston Churchill stood on a Whitehall balcony and addressed the excited crowd below. 'In all our long history,' he said, 'we have never seen a greater day than this.' Churchill had stood against Hitler and won – the day was his." (http://www.bbc.co.uk/timelines/z363gk7)

Winston Churchill was considered by many as a great orator, strategist, and an embodiment of the unrlenting British spirit - "The British Bulldog Spirit." This is also true because of his demeanor - a jowly face and a broad body.
Can you imagine being in front of Winston Churchill in one of the most important times of world history? What would he say? what is he like? What makes him different?
Task
The objective of this lesson is for you to discover what Winston Churchill's contributions were to the Allies victory. You will work in groups of 3 and present the information you find in the form of an interview in a late night show: one of you will be the host and the other one Sir Winston Churchill and the third a guest on the show. All your interviews have to be uploaded to YouTube and then posted on our blog: https://itsallhistoryfornow.wordpress.com/
As a good journalist and host, your job is not only to be as informed as possible about your subject and his surroundings but also to make it interesting for your viewers. Make sure you read, watch, and learn as much about him and his environment to be able to answer the questions like he would in real life.
