Tattoo Reboot

Introduction

Several years ago, on impulse, you stopped in at a tattoo parlor named "Needle Tracks" and left with an unfortunate tattoo.  From this experience you learned that it was not a good idea to use a tattoo artist who thought a good business name should include a drug reference (which goes a long way toward explaining the derranged look of the tattoo he gave you.)

Task

You now have a poorly done tattoo that you want to have removed.  You would then like to get a new tattoo that better expresses your tastes.  You will research the tattoo removal process, as well the process of tattoo correction.  You will then decide whether to remove the tattoo or have a correcting tattoo done.  You will also choose a new tattoo design.

Complete the items in the process section.  Type your responses in Word or Google Docs and email your final response to the teacher at colleen.jones328@gmail.com.

Process

1.  You decide to investigate tattoo removal options by choosing a reliable source, The New York Times   http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/25/fashion/tattoo-regret-a-painful-if-improved-reversal-awaits.html?_r=0   Read The New York Times article entitled "How to Get Rid of a Tattoo You've Outgrown."  Write a paragraph on the best removal technology and whether it is appropriate for removing your line drawing tattoo of a skull.

2.  You also decide to do some reading on possible tattooing over the old skull.  The following website has some inspiration for you. http://www.inkdoneright.com/tattoo-cover-up-ideas/  Decide whether it would be best to remove the tattoo or tattoo over it.  Write a paragraph regarding your decision and why you feel one method would be better than the other in this case.

3.  Choose your new tattoo design.  Include a picture of your design. Write a paragraph explaining why the design is good choice for you.
