Introduction

You will assume the roles of a Packaging Expert and a Painter. You will be asked to use your expertise to determine the surface area for products local stores would like to buy from you. 

Task

Job Position 1: You are the packaging expert for a shipping company that creates boxes for major businesses. You have been given 2 tasks to complete.

Task 1) A local television store needs to purchase 50 boxes that can hold a 60 inch TV. You are tasked with researching the dimensions of the TV, calculating the surface area, and determining the cost of the order.

Step 1: Go to www.bestbuy.com and research a 60 inch TV.

Step 2: Write down the dimensions of the TV (round to the nearest inch).

Step 3: Create the cardboard box for shipping the TV. You will need to add 3 inches to each dimension to allow for padding.

Remember, they do NOT want to paint the ceiling, floor, or doors. Each gallon of paint covers 125 square feet.
