Introduction
Students will write and share a short story of the world as they view it, with all the different cultures involved.
Task
Students will be instructed to write a short story about the world and all the different cultures. Students will be told to share their ideas and write an exciting adventure around the world.
Time spent on task will be 2 days.
Process
Steps:
1. Teacher will reread the book One world, One Day by Barbara Kerley.
2. After reading, teacher will explain to the students that they will be writing a short story about different cultures around the world.
3. Students can use their own imagination and write about any adventures they want to write about.
4. Students need to remember that the story does have to have at least one culture in the story, and that they have 2 days to work on the short story.

Conclusion
Students will learn to share their ideas of different cultures openly. They will also be using their creative skills to write a short and exciting story that they will be proud to share with their family and friends.
