Introduction
June 6, 1944 is the day that Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy and turned the tide of the war. The code name was Operation Overlord. This day, June 6, has become commonly known as D-Day.
Task
Your task is to select one of the five beaches of Normandy which the Allies stormed. Your choice of beaches include: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, or Sword. At the end of the project you will be able to tell me who landed on each beach, what reasons for causulties that occured, why that beach was a good strategic postion, and what the future plans were after invading the beaches. You will do so by writing a one page paper on the beach of your choosing.
Process
1. Select a beach you desire to research: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, or Sword.
2. Perform in-depth research and apply the information.
3. You have one day to perform your research and write your paper. The paper will be one page, and you must cite your sources using Turabian (Chicago) style.

Conclusion
You have successfully implemented Operation Webquest! By examining the Normandy invasions, you just researched one aspect of World War II. Imagine planning and implementing thousands of other militaristic strategies and operations with the goal to win the war. War is not a pretty subject. Those who fought in the war watched their fellow comrades fall by their sides while they fought to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today. How did this project help you with your perspective of war?
