Introduction
Today we are going to be spys! We are going to go spy on different commanders during the Revolutionary War and explore the strategies they used during the war. We have to be sure to gather lots of information because later we will be developing our own strategies for war. We have to keep this a top secret mission! So who is ready to start spying? Let's get started!
Task
You and your partner are spys during the American Revolution during the 1765-1781. Your task is to choose a Commander from the American Revolution, find at least one battle that he led, where that battle happened, how many people died, and who won! After you and your partner have provided the previous information, you will brainstorm what strategies you would have used during the battle to ensure victory for your troops. That will be written as if you and your partner are the commander that you chose! Get on that spy gear and begin your mission!

Step 2: Research the Website to find information about the commander you and your partner chose:

Step 3: Research the website to find a battle that your commander either led or participated in during the American Revolutionary War:

Step 4: Once you have found at least one battle that your commander participated in, each of you will write as if you were that commander and the strategies you would have chosen to win the battle.
Step 5: Turn your paper in once completed along with the information from the webquest.

Conclusion
After completing this webquest, students will have learned about their commmander of choice and at least one battle that their commander either led or fought in. They will learn the details about the battles. This Spy Kids quest is a way for the students to learn about people from the American Revolutionary War and some of the battles that took place during that time span.
