Introduction
GREETINGS AND EXPECTATIONS FROM MS. CHERUBIN

Welcome English students of 1B1. You have been working hard on your end of term Research Skills Project. To reward you for your efforts, I have decided to guide the research process further by providing you with useful links for magazine and newspaper articles, tour operator and tourist reviews, historical accounts as well as videos which capture the sights and sounds of the many tourist attractions and cultural events that each district has to offer. Additionally , there are links which provide biographies of persons born or raised in the various districts who are successful, hardworking or important. Others may be best described as national heroes or icons.
You are also encouraged to revise concepts taught in class such as sources of information, text features, making an oral presentation, citing sources of information, organizing table of contents, body paragraphs and the bibliography.
I urge you to continue to work hard and to master all of the skills that will be required to complete your CCSLC SBA 2.
Best of Luck.
