Your friend is willing to relocate to one of the 23 states that have legalized medical marijuana because the prescribed medications have caused various side effects. Your challenge is to develop a presentation to show support for the use of medical marijuana or your opposition to the use of medical marijuana. Your presentation must have valuable resources to aid in your argument for or against medical marijuana.
Task
Your task is to pair with another student whom has the same views as you pertaining to medical Marijuana; together you will create a presentation supporting your argument. Your presentation must include the following:
- Find out which states have legalized medical Marijuana and the date it became legal
- Find information that supports your argument for or against medical marijuana
- List at least five diseases that medical Marijuana is used to treat
- Find out any negative consequences from legalizing medical Marijuana
- Find recent articles from 2013-present supporting your argument
- Research the legal issues associated with legalizing marijuana
