Introduction
Before we begin reading Shakespeare, we must first understand the life and times from which he came from. Who is Shakespeare? And why do we still care?
Task
Your group will be assigned a particular topic associated with Shakespeare's life or the legacy he left behind. The task of your group will be to create a stop on the timeline of Shakespeare's life and legacy. You will create a small poster on which you will include:
- At least 10 facts about Shakespeare/Legacy pertaining to your topic
- Artwork/Color- make it pretty
- A Chronology- make sure your facts are in order
- Sources- in proper MLA format
- And you will present your information to the class
Each group member will be assigned one of the above tasks for which he/she will recieve an individual grade (although you will have to help each other with these tasks as well). These grades will be based on the process.
Groups will also be given an Overall Score that will be the same for every group member. This will be based on the product.
