Introduction
You just accepted a job as a Geneticist with BLV Labs in Memphis Tennessee. A Geneticist is a scientist that specializes in the variation and heredity of organisms. Your first job as the newest staff member at BLV labs is to research and design a new living organism that would thrive in Tennessee. You must explain how the organism would obtain food, water, and air and thoroughly describe the type of area your organism could be found in. Be creative! Are you Ready? Let's begin!
Task
Your task is to create a living organism that can be found in Tennessee and describe how it will obtain food, water, and air. After researching the biodiversity in the Memphis area, you will create a posterboard that depicts what your living organism might look like, and write a persuasive paragraph to convince the board of scientists at BLV labs that your team should explore the possibilities of genetically engineering your living organism.
Process
First, you will research the ecosystem in which your living organism can live. It's important to consider the environment you are placing your organism in so that you can easily describe how it will obtain the neccessities it takes to survive.
