Welcome to your World Religions WebQuest!
I would like to ask all of you:
Does everyone in your class have a religious background? If you do, does everyone belief or practice the same customs or traditions? Now think about the world outside of your classroom, isn’t everyone a little bit different from one another? As future productive citizens of this society, you will have to socialize and interact with culturally diverse individuals. You will learn to appreciate your own culture and the cultures of others and reject the stereotyping of certain religions.
Task
You will have to research three major religions that dominate and shape the world: Judaism, Christianity & Islam.
If the graph provided you will provide your findings, they are to include specific facts about each tradition highlighting their similarities or differences. You will also have to identify the religion within our city and provide at least two physical places of worship (church/synagogue/temple) in Miami.
