Task
Lets travel the world together!
Over the next 10 weeks, we will be travelling around the globe! You have been given the prestigous task of picking a country to research and 'virtually' travel through!
In pairs, you will pick a country and follow the prompting questions and provided links to find out as much as you can about your chosen country. You will need to plan, prepare and then present your chosen country and finding's to the class at the end of the terms unit.
Have fun and travel safe!!
Process
1. You and your partner will need to make a passport before you begin your journey! Go to your class's google classroom page and open the document titled "My passport". Fill out the required information and 'share' it with your teacher on google drive.
2. You now need to pick a country to study indepthly. Remember, some countries share the same continent, so don't pick "Europe" (for example) as it is not a country on it's own. You will need to pick a country that lies on that continent. Use the following link to see a list of countries and a starting point to gether information on your country.

3. Now that you have picked your country, you will need to make a budget! An important part of travelling is working out how much money you will need to get there and see all the sights! This may require some research on places to go and see and things to do to help you know how much things will cost!
4. On your class's google classroom page, find the document titled "Things to do when you travel". Use the questions on this document to help you create and develop your presentation.
5. Choose a method of presentation. It can be anything you want, including digital and non digital methods; Power Point, Prezi, Notebook, Google Slides, Posters, props, plays, textbooks etc. Remember to include a bibliography at the end of your presentation. BUT, you will need to plan, prepare, rehearse and present a speech to go with your presentation. This is essential and will be the main part of your mark.
6. Check the rubric on your class's google classroom page to see the rubric and the requirements you need to meet for your speech.
7. Use the following websites to help you with your research! Remember, you will have to research some of your own websites and use the library to borrow books to help you with your travels.

Evaluation
Please use the following link to complete a survey about this Web Quest! Please be honest and constructive, it helps your teachers make lessons better for you!
Conclusion
