The Protestant Reformation was a major event in World and US history. Without it, the world and the US would be dramatically different places. You could go so far as to say that the United States might not even be here had it not been for the Protestant Reformation.
By the end of this WebQuest, you will know:
1. Who the main challengers to the authority of the Catholic Chruch were.
2. What the main arguments for the Protestant Reformation were.
3. Short- and long-term effects of the Protestant Reformation.
You will watch a video and read some resources. Once you have finished this, you will answer a few short-answer questions.
