Introduction
Today you will be completing a webquest which will focus on unit rates, proportional relationships and scale drawings.
Task
You will look at on-line ads for multiple grocery stores to compare unit prices for items to determine the best buy and create two scale drawings of a garage using different scales.

Compare three different products that are featured in grocery store ads at two different stores (For example, two store both selling ice cream - brands do not need to be the same but the product type does - Olive oil is not the same product as vegetable oil but Jif Peanut Butter is the same product as Skippy Peanut Butter). Calculate the unit rate for each and determine which store has the best buy.

Finally, you are interested in building your dream house and have chosen an architectural firm to purchase your house plan from.
Notice that the dimensions of the garage on the blueprint is 20 ft by 20 ft). However, sinces garages are optional you are sending out scale drawings to a cabinet company and to a home entertainment installation company. The cabinet company wants the scale drawing to be 1 sq = 2 ft and the home entertainment company wants the scale drawing to be 1 sq = 4 ft. Create the two scale drawings on the back side of your worksheet.
