Introduction

General:

Do/ Does

We use does and is with third person singular pronouns (he, she, it) and with singular noun forms.

We use do and are with other personal pronouns (you, we they) and with plural noun forms.

Verb to be

For the verb to be, we need is or are as question words. 

Questions Words or WH Questions

What = Thing

Who =  Person

Which = Option (decisions)

Why = Reason

Where = Place

When = Time

How = Directions/ Feelings/Quantity

Task

Objectives

a) The completion of Project #1  Level 2 students

b) For the Students to comprehend how to make questions in different ways with Do / Does / Verb to be/ Wh questions.

c) For the Students to comprehend how to provide short or long answers.

Process

Part 1  Written Part

1) Choose a free topic.

2) Write an essay (ensayo)  in a 8 1/2 x 11 page (letter size) up to 10 lines only.

3) The Essay needs to include the following:

   3.1) Questions with Do and Does and their respective answers, either with short   answers or long answers.

   3.2) Questions with Verb to be and their respective answers, either with short      answers or long answers.

   3.3)  Questions Words or WH questions with both Do/Does and Verb to be.

4) This has to be deliver on monday july 19th before class starts.

To make this easier please remember to use the formulas :) 

Part 2 Oral Part

1) Practice by reading several times what you wrote in Part 1.

2) After practicing, tape what you read and send it to me. It could by cell phone as a voice message or by email with a regular sound extension file, whichever is easier for you.
