Plant Parts

Introduction

 

 

Students , I am  Dr. Cuttino and I am looking for volunteers to work in my plant hospital.  There has been many wounded plants coming in the hospital suffering from broken stems, cracked leaves and dry flowers.

 

Plants are living things.  They need  need special care.  Please volunteer in my plant hospital to help care for these wounded plants.

 What are the needs of plants?  Do you know that the parts of plants help them to get or make what they need?  Cadets this web quest will help you understand the plants parts and how important each part is for the plant's growth and development.  After, you complete this web quest you will receive your certificate of completion and can become a volunteer on my hospital staff.

Task

1. You will find out the function of each plant part

2. You will find out how the leaves help the plant.

3. You will examine how the stem helps the plant to live.

4. You will examine how the root helps the plant. 

5.  You will write an expository paper explaining plant parts and their functions.

6.   You will complete the final part on the KWL chart.
