Picture Graphs

Introduction

Tiffany is trying to open up a pet shop, she wants to create a picture graph showing how many of each animal she has in her shop. She needs your help to put the animals into groups, count the aniamls in each group and then display them in a picture graph. You will first need to learn about picture graphs and then follow the steps in order to help Tiffany have a successful grand opening!

Task

By the end of this lesson you should be able to classify by grouping, count forward to at least 10 and put information in the form of a picture graph.

  • You will watch a video on how to create a picture graph.
  • You will then group the alike animals.
  • Next you will count the animals in each group.
  • Finally you will put your data together and create a picture graph, this is how you will evaluate what you have learned.
