Persuasive presentation - Should Students wear School Uniforms?

Introduction

Should students be forced to wear a school uniform? This Webquest satisfies Standard of Learning  11.1 , which is

 TSW make informative and persuasive presentations.

Task

TASK 1 - SOL 11.1 a

The student will take a position on the new school board proposal that all high school students must wear a school uniform.

Task 2 SOL 11.1 c

TSW address counterclaims, anticipating and articulating possible arguments.

TASK 3 SOL 11.1 g

TSW use presentation technology by utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint.

The student will have gained skills on presenting persuasive creative work and summarizing their individual perspective.

Process

TASK 1

You will begin by analyzing the new school uniform proposal.

You will create a T-chart, showing both sides of the argument.
