Introduction
It's the year A.D. 250 in the Roman Empire. You are a Christian during this time period. You enjoy worshipping and getting together with fellow Christians and you are excited about this faith that you have been brought up in. You have heard about persecutions throughout Rome but they are sporadic and don't happen too often. However, there is a new Emperor taking over Rome, Emperor Decius. Things are about to change quickly and for the worse.
Later on, another Emperor, Emperor Diocletian takes over (A.D. 284-305) and being a Christian continues to come with a high price and lots of danger.
Living in this time period in Rome is scary, challenging, and hard on your faith. How will you handle it? Will you be one of the "lapsed"? Or will you be one of the "confessors"?
