Path Towards Independence.....USA USA USA USA USA

The period before the American Revolution was a pivotal point in American Colonies. Many people were calling out the English monarch for his so-called unfair rules and practices, making them Patriots. However, not everyone in the colonies followed the lead of the Patriots. There were those who continually followed England and decided not to rebel, these colonists were called Loyalists.

Your task for this webquest is to determine the causes for colonists moving towards the movement for Indepedence. You must search for and explain what were the determining factors in the years prior to the American Revolution that led to colonists finally deciding to take up arms against the mighty British Empire.

There are several instances where the colonists were pushed to the limit and finally decided to declare their Independence from the "mother country" of England. You will determine which events were the most important and why these led to the American Revolution. You must decide on which FIVE events were the most important and why do you believe this to be true. 

To properly complete the assignment, your answer should consist of TWO paragraphs. The first paragraph will be detailing which events you chose as the most important. The second paragraph will explain why these events led toward the path to Independence.

The path towards Indepedence did not happen overnight, it was a long drawn out process that covered decades.  Colonists living during that time decided the injustices facing them were too much to deal with and decided to take action against their oppressors.  In conclusion,
