Introduction
Hello Students, I just got a new shrinking machine! I thought who better to test it on then you! Over the past week we have been studying insect and arachnids. So today I am going to shrink you all down and you get to enter the world of bugs!
Task
Today I am asking you to head on over to the website
http://www.insectidentification.org
While you are here chose either spiders or beetles. Once you chose to be a spider or insect you will select a specific species and dive further into their (and now) your world!
Process
First thing is first my friends, close your eyes, put your fingers in your ears, count to 7... AND NOW YOU ARE SHRUNK. Now to the important part.
1) Go to the website.

2) Once you are here, select spiders or beetles.
**Remember, you are one of them now.
3) You will need to see where they live, what they eat, and how they protect themselves.
4) After finding those things explore two or three more fun facts you have discovered about your species of spider or beetle.
5) Copy and paste some of these facts into a blank word document.
6) Print this out and you will staple it to the task you will be assigned on the next page!
7) Once you feel like you have all the information you will need, it is time to evalute what you learned!
Evaluation
There will be blank paper on the back table. You will need to get a sheet and draw your self as the insect or arachnid you choose. Include qualities about yourself and the researched information about your beetle or arachnid. Label the shelter or anythig else important that I will need to know about your journey to the bug world!
Conclusion
I hope shrinking you down helped you guys understand and see what its like to be little! Once you have finished your drawings turn them in, in the box.
