You will soon read Night written by Elie Wiesel. This novel is about World War II and the Holocaust. In preparation of reading this novel, it is extremely important that you gain the necessary background information in order to understand certain situations and events.
Through discovery (instead of simply taking notes) you gain ownership of what you are learning. This activity is designed to help you discover and take ownership of your knowledge about the Holocaust. I could lecture you for hours regarding World War II and the Holocaust...
