Introduction

After people migrated to the Americas and the Ice Age came to an end, bands of people began to settle in different areas. Depending on the environment and resources of the area, people developed unique cultures. A culture is the beliefs, customs, and way of life for a group of people. In this webquest, will be looking at how different cultures developed within the four major regions of North America: The Eastern Woodlands, The Plains, The Southwest Desert, and The Pacific Northwest.

Task

Your task is to learn about the unique culture of early people within the four major regions of North America. You will look particularly at the environment, resources, homes, and food of people in each region.
