Multiple Disabilities

Simultaneous impairments, the combination of which causes such severe education needs that they cannot be addressed by providing special education services for only one of the impairments.

          Academic abilities vary and require adaptive skills that consist of: conceptual,

               social and practical competencies

          Motor development Impairments; may cause difficulty sitting/moving

          Visual impairments/blindness

          Communication impairments; speech problems or non-verbal
